Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll work in an IT environment that is constantly evolving. Alongside our modern Azure environment, we still work with traditional infrastructure and application landscapes. Over the coming years, we’ll gradually modernize and migrate these environments to the cloud.

This means you won’t just manage our infrastructure – you’ll also contribute ideas, design solutions and build new capabilities. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to architecture, migration strategies, automation and the development of a future-ready IT platform.

In this role, you will:

• Manage, maintain and optimize our cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure.
• Monitor the availability, performance and security of our IT infrastructure.
• Monitor and improve networks, servers, storage and cloud platforms.
• Support migrations to cloud-native solutions and contribute to shaping our future IT environment.
• Implement security measures and work according to guidelines covering areas such as security by design, IAM, hardening, patching, network security and compliance.
• Support our stores, logistics locations and office environments with infrastructure-related issues.
• Work closely with suppliers and technology partners and provide technical direction for their work when needed.
• Analyze and resolve complex incidents and work on structural solutions to prevent them from recurring.
• Contribute to innovation projects and the continued digitalization of the organization.

Where you make an impact:

• You have relevant knowledge of cloud and infrastructure technologies through your education and/or work experience. Experience with Microsoft Azure is important for this role. But don’t let that hold you back if your expertise lies more with Google Cloud and/or AWS!
• You have experience with infrastructure, for example Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365 and networking technologies such as WAN, LAN, VPN and firewalls.
• You’re comfortable with scripting and automation, for example using PowerShell, and are familiar with monitoring and management tools.
• You work in a structured way, can analyze complex issues and look for solutions that contribute to a reliable and secure IT environment.
• You’re confident communicating in English, allowing you to collaborate effectively in our international working environment.
