Junior Branch Merchandiser

Branch Merchandise is the connecting link between our departments: Merchandise, Retail Operations, Sales Operations, and Logistics. The Branch Merchandise team ensures that every store is optimally stocked with the right breadth and depth of product range, tailored to store space, commercial opportunities, and stock availability. As a junior Branch Merchandiser, you play an important role in preparing, monitoring, and adjusting this process throughout the season. This not only concerns the stores themselves, but also includes managing old stock and re-centralizing stock from all channels. You will be involved in cross-departmental projects.

What will you be doing?

Before the season:

• Collaborating on banding & grading per division and channel, together with Merchandise   Planning.
• Keeping store layouts and floor space per location up to date.

During the season:

• Monitoring sales, stock, and store filling.
• Analyzing promotions and commercial results.
• Identify and resolve issues together with Retail, Sales Operations, and Merchandise Planning.
• Support stock distribution between stores, marketplaces, and EDC.
• Manage external stock and assist with store openings, closures, and renovations.

After the season:

• Coordinate stock centralization and support old stock management.

What do we expect from you?

• A completed higher professional education degree, for example in Economics, Business Administration, or Fashion.
• At least 2 years of work experience as a Junior Merchandiser, Junior Branch Merchandiser, or Junior Space Planner in a retail environment. Experience in the fashion industry is an advantage.
• In addition to highly developed analytical skills, you are commercially minded and have good communication skills.
• You have an overview of the whole picture, a hands-on mentality, and knowledge of Excel.
