Senior Data Engineer

WE Fashion is in the midst of a large-scale IT transformation. Data is the driving force behind this transformation. As a Data Engineer, you will build the foundation for our data-driven way of working: robust pipelines, a reliable data infrastructure, and a Data Hub that serves as the single source of truth for the entire organization.

You’ll work closely with data analysts and business stakeholders. You’ll transform raw data from diverse sources—ranging from ERP and POS to e-commerce and marketing—into a consistent, high-quality data foundation. You’ll actively contribute to architectural decisions, monitor data quality, and help build a modern Fabric data platform with Power BI as the BI layer.

In this role:

• You design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for data ingestion, validation, transformation, and storage.
• You integrate internal and external data sources into a single reliable and cohesive data foundation.
• You manage and optimize the Data Hub with a focus on performance, scalability, and continuity.
• You actively contribute to data quality, governance, and the application of standards within the data architecture.
• You document data pipelines, architecture, and processes according to agreed-upon guidelines.
• You identify opportunities for optimization and innovation within the data engineering domain.
• You contribute to resolving incidents and maintaining the stability of the platform.

Where you make an impact:

• You bring extensive knowledge of data engineering, gained through education or relevant work experience.
• You have experience with SQL and Python for transforming and modeling data.
• You have experience with data pipelines, data modeling, and modern data architecture.
• You contribute ideas regarding data quality, governance, and the secure and reliable organization of data.
• You can express yourself well in English, enabling you to collaborate effectively in our international work environment.
