Junior Designer Girlswear

Every day, our Girlswear Design team works with passion on a collection that is fresh, recognisable and full of energy for our young customer. As a Junior Designer, you are constantly thinking ahead: spotting trends, analysing bestsellers and turning creative ideas into designs that fit our brand identity across multiple seasons.

You’re involved in the full design process for the Girlswear collection. You create designs and artworks, translate them into detailed style sheets with fabrics and trims, and ensure suppliers and Fit Technicians have everything they need. You organise your work carefully, prepare trend presentations and contribute to a clear and structured workflow.

Together with Buying, you develop strong, commercial items that connect with our target customer. In this role, you work closely with the Girlswear team and report directly to the Design Manager Girlswear — which means short lines, quick feedback and plenty of room to learn and grow.

Where you make impact:

• You translate creative ideas into clear, commercial girlswear designs that fit the WE® identity.
• You work accurately and in a structured way, ensuring designs are complete and delivered on time to suppliers and Fit Technicians.
• You stay up to date on trends, colours, prints and graphics within girlswear and know how to turn them into new opportunities.
• You collaborate effectively with Buyers and fellow designers to create strong, customer-focused collections.
• You work confidently with Adobe CC (especially Adobe Illustrator) and can visualise designs clearly for internal and external partners. Experience with PLM systems is a plus.
